Details

This is an onsite role for the time being, with potential flexibility down the line. Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly financial close activities
• Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and employee reimbursements
• Manage cash activity, bank reconciliations, and intercompany transactions
• Support acquisitions, new entity setup, and accounting for investment activities
• Assist with investor accounting, distributions, and financial reporting
• Prepare lender reporting and support loan compliance requirements
• Help coordinate audits, tax preparation, and year-end reporting
• Assist with budgeting, special projects, and process improvements
• Utilize accounting technology, automation, and AI tools to improve efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• 1-5 years of accounting experience (Fund accounting or real estate/property management experience is a plus but not required)
• Strong understanding of GAAP and the full accounting cycle
• Experience with accounting or ERP systems
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with reconciliations and financial reporting
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet recurring deadlines in a fast-paced environment
