Senior Staff Accountant

Responsibilities
- Preparing and presenting accurate and timely financial reports to senior management.
- Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including SOX.
- Acting as backup in support for the company's accounts payable and receivable.
- Assisting with the creation of the annual operating plan (AOP) and financial forecasts.
- Managing monthly close process including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, financial reporting and analysis, and review of control activities.
- Collaborating with other departments to develop and implement financial strategies.
- Assisting with financial audits, and coordinating with external auditors as necessary.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree or CPA certification is preferred.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience with SOX. Strong knowledge of GAAP.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Baan, or Infor will be a plus.
- Experience assisting in A/R and A/P transactions will be a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Manage cost accounting activities including standard cost analysis and rollover, inventory count and reserve analysis, Capex and fixed assets activities recording.

Salary
$80,000 - $110,000 per year
