Senior Staff Accountant

Central Vermont Home Health & Hospice is a community-focused, not-for-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the well-being of central Vermonters through exceptional home health and hospice care. We deliver health promotion, long-term care, and maternal-and-child health services, aiming to enrich the lives of our community members at every stage.
Responsibilities
- Perform month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare investment schedules, maintain fixed asset schedules, and support budgeting
- Supervise payroll and accounts payable operations
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external reporting requirements
- Support external audits and provide financial insights to leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of accounting or financial analysis experience
- Valid driver's license
