Senior Specialist, Workplace Safety

Responsibilities

• Developing and enhancing EHS policies, incorporating best practices in areas like PPE, equipment safety, and waste management
• Leading EHS program implementation for compliance in emergency preparedness, hazardous materials, and life safety
• Evaluating and selecting health and safety equipment to support and improve organizational EHS standards
• Implementing environmental impact reduction programs, focusing on energy efficiency and waste management initiatives
• Designing EHS training content to educate employees on safety protocols and compliance requirements
• Analyzing EHS data to prepare reports, guide safety committees, and recommend corrective actions for process improvements
• Investigating incidents using EHS MIS databases, documenting findings, and managing follow-up actions
• Serving as an EHS advisor, researching regulations, and interfacing with regulatory agencies for compliance matters

Qualifications

Associate's Degree. While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
