Senior Specialist, Operations
Hybrid position based at our Seattle headquarters, with an expectation of three days a week in office, including occasional events before/after standard business hours.
About the Role
The Operations Senior Specialist is an administrative professional who manages critical pieces of our employee and workplace experience at our Seattle headquarters. The Operations Sr. Specialist has project/program management experience, is proactive and takes initiative, and helps us provide a seamless, thoughtful workplace experience where team members can do their best work, and every employee and guest feels like a priority.
Office Operations
- Lead Seattle's onboarding experience in partnership with our Market Onboarding lead: first day experience, tours, onboarding facilitation, communication to People Leaders, liaising with Global Onboarding Team and other Market leads.
- Oversee our sports ticketing program, providing Slalom employees and clients with experiences to local Seattle sports teams. Budgeting, ticket allocation, day-of distribution, and troubleshooting.
- Partner with market leadership on internal communications and strategy across a variety of services: SharePoint, Teams, Viva Engage, and email. Ensure information for employees and visitors is up to date and easy to find.
- Liaise with executives, business leaders, operation teams and departments to be armed with up-to-date information for on-demand questions and requests.
- Complete ServiceNow requests or route to appropriate teams.
- Build and maintain property and vendor relationships.
- Provide support with building management, internal employees and vendors regarding facility-related asks and issues.
- Support ad-hoc requests from Executive Leadership Team Executive Assistants.
- Partner with members of Team Operations in coordination of new-hire and guest access to the building.
- Provide event and executive support, as needed.
- Make supply and event purchases through Oracle and purchasing cards.
Front Desk Support
- Greet new hires, candidates, clients, guests and vendors in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Support building access for employees and guests.
- Triage requests through our shared email inboxes.
- Schedule external & internal meeting room reservations for Slalom teams.
- Triage and forward phone inquiries to appropriate teams.
- Track mail and packages and provide shipping assistance for employees.

- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Teams
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds as part of daily operations

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The targeted base salary pay range for this position is $35 to $40 per hour. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
