Senior Specialist MES Recipe Author – 1st Shift

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) of the site MES recipe/workflow process.
• Create and maintain MES master data.
• Collaborate with operations, Quality, Engineering, and other departments to support and maintain MES interface with other automated functions (i.e. SAP, LIMS, Historian, etc).
• Initiate, revise, and validate MES functions for operations.
• Initiate/support all validation documents required for operations.
• Provide support for MES system functions relating to EBR recipes, workflows, and master data.
• Develop and/or revise MES related procedures to comply with current GMP’s and quality compliance.
• Support audits and periodic reviews of the system relating to EBR recipes, workflows, and master data per current Viatris policies.
• Provide and support MES end user training.
• Assure training is in compliance with all applicable procedures and regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to read and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to complete documentation associated with their position.
• Possess initiative and establish good interpersonal relationships.
• Able to make decisions in line with policies and values of the company.
• Computer literacy and technical abilities in writing and functional testing is required, including but not limited to the following:
• Attention to details and interpretation of instructions that appear in electronic records, manufacturing orders, procedures, qualification, and/or validation protocols.
• Ability to do arithmetic computations associated with the requirements of the position.

Benefits

• The salary range for this position is: $55,000 - $105,000.
