About the role

The position supports the Chief Medical Physicist and Radiation Safety Officer in Medical Physics and Radiation Safety compliance related activities at Boston University (BU) and Boston Medical Center (BMC).

Responsibilities

  • Assists with Quality Control (QC) of radiation generating devices and lead protective apparel.
  • Supports radiation safety inspection, dosimetry and emergency response programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of related experience.

Pay

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training and internal pay comparison. The expected hiring range is from $76,000.00 to $85,000.00.
