Senior Specialist, Logistics
About the role
As the Senior Specialist, Logistics at RXO, you are responsible for monitoring all operations daily workload including but not limited to customer relations, bidding available freight, monitoring drivers, delivery and routing issues with external customers and contracted drivers. This position involves heavy phone and email contact between external customers and contracted drivers and carriers. In addition, the position is responsible for data entry tasks. You will have a starring role in helping us continue to provide daily freight solutions for our Expedite customers.
Responsibilities
- Maintain phone communication between external customers and contracted drivers/couriers
- Assist contracted drivers with delivery issues
- Resolve any customer or driver issues, complaints, and answer questions
- Monitoring progress of shipments
- System data entry tasks including customer charges, driver day, and carrier pay
- Assign drivers to shipments
- Secure additional freight
- Update customer portals
- Additional duties as requested
Qualifications
At a Minimum, You Will Need:
- 1 year of logistics experience
- 2 years of experience in a customer service role resolving issues and responding to customer requests
It Would Be Great If You Also Have:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a call center environment
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to satisfactorily resolve issues
- Solid ability to multitask with exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to thrive under pressure while delivering solutions that exceed customer expectations
Pay
Compensation for this role is $29/HR. The role may also be eligible for bonus or commission pay. Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set.
