About the role

The Senior Insurance Specialist will manage and advise on various insurance policies, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and provide expert knowledge to clients on risk management and policy maintenance. This role requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex insurance concepts clearly. You will handle day-to-day insurance needs for clients, manage client insurance portfolios, and support the Insurance Department Managers. This role will be for our GSO team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and advise on various insurance policies
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations
  • Provide expert knowledge to clients on risk management and policy maintenance
  • Handle day-to-day insurance needs for clients
  • Manage client insurance portfolios
  • Support the Insurance Department Managers

Requirements

  • Extensive insurance knowledge with comprehensive, high-level understanding of commercial and personal lines
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-volume work environment
  • Friendly and professional demeanor
  • Ability to work well with a team and pitch in when needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Insurance license highly recommended/preferred
  • Mathematical acumen
  • Prior Insurance Experience required (5+ years), preferably on the broker side and/or in the entertainment industry

Pay

The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $95,000 and represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and location.
