Senior Specialist - Data Sciences

About the role

Agentic Systems seeks a Senior Developer AI Engineer to build and run production AI agents on AWS Bedrock and AgentCore. This role involves deploying LLM agents, orchestrating multi-agent workflows, building custom MCP servers, managing RAG pipelines, enforcing Bedrock guardrails, and running output quality gates.

Responsibilities

• Deploy LLM agents on AgentCore Bedrock Claude Sonnet standard runtime
• Orchestrate multiagent workflows with the AWS Strands SDK
• Build custom MCP servers in Python to connect agents to enterprise systems
• Own RAG pipelines Titan Embeddings v2 pgvector Databricks Vector Search
• Manage prompts as versioned code in Bedrock Prompt Management
• Enforce Bedrock Guardrails PII detection promptinjection defence
• Run output quality gates via AgentCore Evals Braintrust
• Instrument agents with OpenTelemetry into Dynatrace ELK steps token cost latency
• Ship via FastAPI GitHub Actions and Terraform

Requirements

Experience: 7 to 9 years overall, 2 years hands-on with LLMagentic systems

• AWS Bedrock agentic frameworks Strands or LangGraph CrewAI Autogen MCP embeddings and vector search structured prompt engineering LLM evaluation AI guardrails
• FastAPI GitHub Actions Terraform OpenTelemetry

Qualifications

• Nice to have but not mandatory: TypeScript React AWS CDK Databricks Claude Code LLM cost optimisation insurance or regulated industry exposure
