About the Role
This position involves hands-on platform bring-up and validation from power-on stage to functional readiness, working closely with hardware, firmware, validation, and infrastructure teams.
Responsibilities
- Validate PCIe power sequencing, reset flow, boot flow, firmware interaction, and system readiness.
- Execute validation test plans using Bifrost, TFT, PowerShell-based frameworks, and custom scripts.
- Run smoke and regression tests, review logs, and verify pass/fail criteria.
- Debug hardware, firmware, and OS-level issues such as PCIe enumeration failures, FLR/PCR reset failures, boot/post issues, and firmware-related failures.
- Collect and analyze logs (UART, HSP, BMC/AMC, RSCM, system logs) for root-cause analysis.
- Use debug methods like known-good comparison, board swapping, isolation testing, and failure reproduction.
- Support lab validation using serial consoles (PuTTY), BMC/RSCM interfaces, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, and protocol analyzer.
- Perform firmware flashing and validation for HSP, AMC, BMC, CPLD, and BIOS components.
- Automate test execution, log collection, and output validation using PowerShell frameworks (e.g., TFTtestlib.ps1).
- Support workspace setup, environment configuration, and regression automation for validation activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to triage issues and drive closure.
- Create and maintain SOPs, debug guides, validation procedures, known issues, and workarounds.
- Analyze validation results to identify failure trends, blockers, risks, and platform readiness status.
- Conduct cross-functional issue triage, root-cause analysis, and validation reporting.

Pay
The salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position across all US locations.
