Responsibilities
- Participate in discussions with stakeholders to understand user requirements and conduct requirements analysis.
- Support in programming activities; follow recommended coding standards and secure coding principles to avoid security vulnerabilities.
- Aid in solution design, development, testing, configuration, and static analysis tasks.
- Develop and maintain test plans and test cases, identify stakeholders for testing, collect and analyze test execution results, and obtain regular user feedback.
- Support continuous improvement efforts, such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA), to enhance performance and functionality.
- Maintain and update scripts to accommodate changes in requirements and/or implementation.
- Support releases of software application versions and features.
- Train end users on the usage of applications and new features.
- Ensure strict adherence to the Solution Delivery Process Guide (SDPG) and the organization’s Policy and Operating Manuals.
- Create and document requirements, interface descriptions, functional and non-functional requirements, and test results related to software architecture, application design, component integration, testing guidelines, and other key elements.
- Generate reports for stakeholders as requested.
- Participate in internal and external compliance audits, including providing audit request items, conducting interviews, and other related tasks.
Qualifications
- Basic experience of simple office / operational systems.
- Within 250 miles of an APL Logistics facility or office.
- Typical starting salary range: $109,300 - $120,000.
- Experience with EDI programming tools (e.g., IBM Transformation Extender (IBM ITX), Axway B2Bi) and EDI (ANSI-X12 / EDIFACT / XML / CSV / JSON / SOAP+XML) logical map development related to logistics industry.
- Good API working knowledge on JSON, Swagger, Open API, WSDL, SOAP+XML, transformations, API connectors, Catalog, publish, maintain, manage access in API Portals, and various API authentications like API Key, OAuth, basic userid/password, SSL, etc.
- Strong understanding of Logistics and SCM operations to conduct and manage project development.
Pay
The actual salary offer will take into account multiple factors including skills, experience, and location. The typical starting salary range for this position is: $109,300 - $120,000.
Schedule
Candidates are eligible for a designated Hybrid schedule as described below:
- Full-time on-site or remote schedules are determined based on role and business needs.
- Hybrid employees must report to the office 8 days per month, scheduled by their supervisor.
- Warehouse roles are typically fully on-site.
