This role sits at the intersection of engineering, operations, and supply chain, ensuring supplier readiness, mitigating risk, and enabling successful product launches in a high-growth manufacturing environment. This is a high-visibility, individual contributor role with significant influence across teams and direct exposure to leadership. Responsibilities Own sourcing strategy and execution across the end-to-end product lifecycle (design → launch → scale)Act as the primary interface between engineering, operations, and supply chain teamsDrive supplier readiness to support product launches and production rampIdentify and mitigate supply chain risks (capacity, delivery, quality, cost)Lead cross-functional alignment to ensure program milestones are metManage sourcing deliverables, timelines, and program executionPartner with category managers to execute sourcing strategies and resolve supplier challengesAnalyze data and provide insights to support decision-makingPresent program updates, risks, and recommendations to leadership Basic Qualifications 12+ years of experience in sourcing, supply chain, or program managementProven experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) environmentsExperience owning sourcing from launch through production rampStrong cross-functional experience with engineering, operations, and supply chainDemonstrated ability to drive program execution and timelinesExperience in supplier selection, qualification, and readinessStrong analytical and communication skills, including executive-level presentations Preferred Qualifications Experience in semiconductor, capital equipment, or advanced manufacturingExperience in complex hardware, aerospace, or medical devicesExperience in high-growth or ramp environmentsAdvanced degree (MBA, MS in Supply Chain, or related field)Technical ability to interpret drawings, specs, or custom componentsAdvanced Excel and data analysis skills Work Environment Hybrid schedule: 3 days/week onsite in Somerset, NJHigh-visibility role with exposure to engineering, operations, and leadershipDirect impact on product launches and company growth To book an initial phone screening, please utilize this link: https://talentassistant.astoncarter.com/assistant/bookings/cebf9226-203c-4bc4-90de-3e90d29f66f6 Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Somerset, NJ. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $151000.00 - $192000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
