About the role
N-able is seeking a Post Sales Solutions Engineer to join our team in a hybrid role based at the Morrisville collaboration hub.
Responsibilities
- Build and foster relationships with partners to understand their needs, tech stack, and product usage, ensuring they maximize their investment in N-able.
- Provide top-notch technical advice by analyzing complex requirements and aligning them with N-able products.
- Collaborate with partners to address product gaps and mentor colleagues within the team.
- Advocate for partner success in technical discussions with Product Management and Development, demonstrating how to leverage N-able products for business growth.
- Design and implement custom monitoring, automation, and reporting solutions tailored to partners' goals, sharing best practices for deployment.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, resolving them directly or coordinating with Support and other teams as needed.
- Deliver training and enablement to partners and internal teams to optimize N-able product usage.
- Leverage knowledge of MSPs and competitors to assist with customer migrations and provide insights to keep partners ahead.
- Maintain documentation of partner interactions, project updates, and solutions to ensure clear communication and alignment.
Requirements
- A proactive and curious mindset with a focus on engaging partners and understanding their unique technical needs.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing technical role, particularly within an MSP or selling to MSPs.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to lead and convey complex ideas clearly in face-to-face meetings.
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems, scripting, automation, networking, and virtualization; experience with Mac operating systems is preferred.
- Background in supporting Remote Monitoring and/or PSA solutions is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, demonstrating initiative and independence while meeting objectives.
- Strong self-management and customer service skills to handle multiple projects and partner needs.
- Willingness to travel up to 5-10% of the time.
A technical degree is complementary, but relevant experience and skills are prioritized.
