Senior Solutions Engineer

Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery sessions with enterprise stakeholders across IT, InfoSec, HRIS, and more
- Build and configure demo environments that bring the BetterUp experience to life
- Deliver high-fidelity, narrative-driven demos tailored to customer goals and buyer personas
- Serve as the technical point-of-contact throughout the pre-sales cycle, including security, API, and integration conversations
- Design scalable solutions aligned to platform capabilities, delivery realities, and product roadmap
- Translate integration needs into clear, technically viable specifications
- Produce Solution Design Blueprints and drive alignment across Sales, Product, and Customer Success
- Support seamless handoffs into implementation by clarifying configuration logic and deployment readiness
Requirements
- 4+ years in a Solutions Engineering, Pre-Sales, or Technical Consulting role in enterprise SaaS
- Demonstrated experience building functional prototypes or proof-of-concepts—ideally using tools like Python—to showcase solution feasibility, validate technical approaches, and drive alignment with cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience working with HRIS, LMS, SSO, or API-based integrations in large-scale enterprise environments
- Strong ability to build and deliver tailored product demos that align to real-world business needs
- Deep understanding of data privacy, security, and compliance in global enterprise contexts
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Pioneering ability to create clear, reusable documentation that supports implementation and adoption

- Experience gathering and structuring product feedback to inform roadmap conversations

Pay
The base salary range for this role is $123,200 – $154,000 + commission: New York City, San Francisco and Seattle $103,320 – $129,150 + commission: All other locations
Schedule
Hybrid Work Policy & Hub Locations: Hybrid Expectation: You will be expected to work from your local office at least 2 days per week (or 8 days per month) and should be able to realistically commit to this structure before applying. This hybrid role will require travel up to 25% of the time for client engagements. If you are not located near a hub: You will work as a fully remote employee. This remote role will require travel up to 50% of the time for client engagements and internal BetterUp purposes.
