Responsibilities
- Project Coordination & Management:
- Lead a cross-functional team of engineers to ensure the successful execution of the project.
- Proactively identify and manage project risks, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
- Support clear, proactive communication with customers, providing updates, managing expectations, and resolving technical challenges efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with sales and technical sales teams during handover phases to ensure continuity and a deep understanding of customer expectations.
- Drive project success by aligning internal engineering, operations, and customer stakeholders around clear objectives and deliverables.
- Thermal Architecture & Feasibility:
- Develop novel thermal-fluid solutions and concepts that map our capabilities to customer needs.
- Participate in initial analysis and feasibility assessments to determine if a customer's problem is a strong fit for our technology.
- Distill insights from projects to help inform the product and technology roadmap.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in thermal management, heat transfer, and related system design principles.
- Expertise in a customer-facing capacity (e.g., applications, sales, or field engineering).
- Demonstrated ability to lead and oversee technical projects.
- Experience in project management fundamentals, with a focus on execution, including requirements definition, risk management, and schedule oversight.
Preferred
- A graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or a related field with a focus on thermal fluids.
- Experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability (DFM) principles.
