Senior Solutions Architect, WWPS ISV
About the role
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a highly motivated Solutions Architect to help accelerate our growing ISV Partner business as part of the World-Wide Public-Sector practice. You will be focused on ISV partners in the Enterprise resource planning (ERP) and Human capital management (HCM) space. As a Solutions Architect within AWS, you will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build broad use of Amazon's utility computing web services (e.g., AWS EC2, AWS S3, AWS RDS, and AWS CloudFront) directly with customers and our ecosystem of system integrators and solution providers.
Responsibilities
- Helping our customers to design and create cloud computing architectures
- Lead complex, multi-service architecture designs workloads on AWS, driving end-to-end technical strategy for public sector customers
- Develop and deliver thought leadership content (blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures) specific to Databricks/Data & AI on AWS
- Mentor junior SAs and contribute to organizational scaling through reusable artifacts and best practices
- Identify and drive product feature requests (PFRs) based on customer feedback to influence AWS service roadmap
- Ability to travel 30%
Requirements
- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
- 3+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning), GenAI (Generative AI), Analytics, Database, and/or Storage experience
- Experience in GenAI deployments
Qualifications
- Experience working with end user or developer communities
- 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
- Experience leading or developing high quality, enterprise scale software products using a structured system development lifecycle
- Experience in a technical role within a sales organization
- Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies
- Databricks and Data experience preferred

Pay
Base salary range for this position is listed below. USA, NY, New York - 169,000.00 - 228,600.00 USD annually
USA, VA, Arlington - 153,600.00 - 207,800.00 USD annually

Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
