About the role

Join the AWS Solutions Architecture team where your cloud solutions will help architect the future of global travel. In this role, you’ll design highly scalable, secure AWS systems that handle millions of bookings, reviews, and real-time interactions globally. You’ll bridge business and technology, translating market needs into future-ready architectures that drive growth and user trust. We value strategic thinkers who thrive in ambiguity, communicate powerfully across teams, and love mentoring others.

Key job responsibilities

  • Own complex solution end-to-end: Lead the design, validation, and full lifecycle implementation of mission-critical customer solutions. Merge deep technical expertise with business strategy to deliver scalable, secure, and innovative architectures that solve high-impact problems.
  • Lead technical strategy & advocacy: Drive technical discussions with customer teams, diving into design choices, AWS best practices, and real-world use cases. Challenge assumptions, validate architectures, and ensure solutions align with both technical excellence and business outcomes.
  • Build scalable knowledge assets: Create reusable, adoption-ready technical content—including sample code, blogs, workshops, and presentations—that empowers teams to implement best practices efficiently and consistently.
  • Forge consensus across stakeholders: Harmonize diverse perspectives by articulating clear technical and strategic visions. Resolve conflicts, align cross-functional teams, and drive unified execution of complex initiatives.
  • Accelerate adoption through reuse: Identify opportunities to modularize solutions and leverage existing assets, reducing time-to-market and delivering greater value to the broader customer community.

A day in the life

Your day begins with internal stakeholder meetings to align on customer priorities before joining customer calls to discuss technical architecture and solution options. You'll spend time experimenting with new services to solve specific customer challenges, then document your findings. Afternoons might include solutioning sessions where you craft architectures that address complex media workloads, followed by building proof-of-concepts to demonstrate feasibility. You'll close your day evangelizing best practices to both internal teams and customers.
