Senior Solutions Architect, Strategic Accounts
About the role
As a Solutions Architect, you will provide architectural and technical leadership to a portfolio of customers looking to leverage AWS services at scale. You will be the domain expert guiding architectural design decisions, while demonstrating customer obsession to ensure high availability and performance of customers’ applications. You’ll have the opportunity to learn and be curious while evangelizing the latest innovations and best practices in infrastructure, engineering, and application design. You will mentor peers and customers while growing your knowledge.
Requirements
- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
- Experience architecting or deploying Cloud/Virtualization solutions in enterprise customers
- Experience with presentations and speaking with executives, IT, management, and developers

Pay
The base salary range for this position is: USA, CA, San Francisco – $176,600.00 – $239,000.00 annually; USA, WA, Seattle – $153,600.00 – $207,800.00 annually. The package includes sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
