Senior Solutions Architect - Enterprise AI
About the role
Join the NVIDIA Solution Architect team as a Senior Network Architect supporting Enterprise Products. Your expertise in networking, compute hardware, storage, and cloud-native software will drive the design of scalable datacenter implementations for enterprise-grade AI systems. Collaborate across disciplines to translate high-level goals into detailed specifications, develop and validate reference cluster designs, and build on-prem cloud-ready solutions that interoperate seamlessly with cloud service providers (CSPs) for hybrid enterprise AI solutions.
Responsibilities
- Own the creation of scalable datacenter solutions for enterprise AI/ML systems
- Craft detailed requirements for pioneering infrastructure patterns and datacenter-wide architectures
- Create and validate cluster designs, optimizing them for enterprise facilities
- Collaborate closely with experts in compute, software, and storage to drive innovation
- Lead multi-disciplinary projects, addressing high-level goals and complex challenges
- Engineer on-premises cloud-native solutions that integrate flawlessly with diverse cloud providers
- Drive expertise and excellence in the compute and hardware architecture domain
- Showcase a multidisciplinary understanding of Ethernet, InfiniBand, data center LAN, WAN, WiFi, and software-defined networks
- Conduct TCO analysis to optimize datacenter efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 8-10+ years of hardware or infrastructure architecture experience
- Expertise in architecting cluster designs for on-prem cloud-native platforms
- Proficiency in advanced networking with emphasis on scalability, portability, security, and resilience
- Ability to evaluate diverse networks, capturing differences and researching behavior under varied workloads
- Deep understanding of cloud-native architecture concepts (high availability, scalability, resilience, performance, and security)
- Mastery of networking patterns at chassis, rack, cluster, and datacenter levels for reference architectures
- Strong written and oral communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Technical leadership in cluster design, focusing on networking setup, management, security, and remote access
- System-level thinking with a comprehensive grasp of network design and its impact on cluster reference designs
Skills
- Relevant vendor networking certifications (e.g., Cisco, Arista Cloud Engineer (ACE), Juniper Networks)
- Wider infrastructure expertise in compute, storage, platform sizing, and infrastructure cost reduction
- TCO analysis skills focused on datacenter architectures to optimize resource utilization and efficiency
Pay
Base salary range: $184,000 USD - $287,500 USD (Level 4) or $224,000 USD - $356,500 USD (Level 5), plus equity and benefits.
