About the role

We’re looking for an experienced cybersecurity consultant with several years of experience across the entire customer lifecycle—from pre-sales to post-sales and professional services—to join our growing Customer Success team as a Senior Solutions Architect, covering the East Coast of the United States.

In this role, you will be the consistent value champion for Immersive from pre-sale to post-sale. You will partner with our Enterprise Sales team to conduct Proofs of Value (POVs) with new and existing customers to secure the technical win, build relationships with key customers to drive business outcomes, and serve as the primary contact within our strategic accounts. Your focus will be on driving platform adoption of the latest features to maximize the value of the Immersive One Platform and executing a programmatic approach to Cyber Workforce Resilience.

Unlike traditional consultancy, which is transactional (e.g., working on a single project to completion and then leaving), in this role you are embedded and dedicated to the customer for the duration of the contract. This is a long-term, continuous engagement where you provide industry and operational experience to help simplify the drive for cyber resilience by aligning and complementing an organization's cyber strategy and vision. The customer is your number one priority, and your focus is to ensure their success every step of the way, helping them become more mature in cyber resilience. You will adapt to the situations you encounter and act as a trusted partner, utilizing the Immersive One platform to its fullest potential. Their success is your success—it feels personal.

As a trusted, long-term embedded consultant with knowledge in all areas of cyber, the customer will look to you for answers. You must be agile with on-the-spot thinking and interact with all areas of the customer’s organization, from the C-Suite to the teams and individuals that comprise it. You will help everyone.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and help define prospective customers’ technical requirements and use-cases to align Immersive Lab’s technical and business value proposition.
  • Engage C-level executives, technical cybersecurity professionals, and major lines of business through delivering in-depth solution demonstrations and managing proof-of-concepts.
  • Act as a security advisor throughout the technical sales cycle by building cyber skills programs, facilitating crisis simulations, and measuring organizational risk.
  • Partner with key customers to understand and help achieve their business objectives, cybersecurity initiatives, and desired outcomes.
  • Establish strategies and roadmaps to drive cyber workforce resilience through a programmatic approach.
  • Engage C-level executives, technical cybersecurity professionals, and major lines of business through delivering routine Executive Business Reviews.
  • Leverage your cybersecurity knowledge to recommend appropriate improvements to current programs and suggest new programs.
  • Drive adoption to maximize the value of the Immersive Labs Platform.
  • Immerse yourself in the cybersecurity community to remain informed of evolving threats, trends, and new technologies.
  • Collaborate with product, content, and engineering teams to serve as the voice of the customer and influence product innovation.
  • Support customers in operationalizing and incorporating Immersive One into their cybersecurity programs sustainably, leveraging platform metrics, custom reports, and insights to highlight the value created along the journey.
  • Function as an escalation point and primary liaison between sales, product leadership, and client accounts, including being the first sales team resource for questions related to service delivery within your accounts.
  • With the Customer Success Manager (CSM), assist in delivering Executive Business Reviews (EBRs) to customers, providing executive-level reports and insights that help drive long-term account health and expansion opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of work experience in an information security practitioner or solution consulting role, as well as time spent working in a pre-sales capacity. Experience within Customer Success would be highly desirable.
  • Extensive experience in client-facing roles—you will have consulted and presented to both C-level executives and technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in IT fundamentals (computer hardware/software, databases, networking, security, and software development).
  • Authoritative knowledge of information security concepts, domains, compliances, and standards. You are an engaging speaker and presenter, able to articulate value and discuss technical concepts in a jargon-free manner.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows & Linux operating systems, security tools (IDS, firewalls, anti-malware, SIEM), and public cloud environments.
  • Experience leading technical presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences across all levels.
  • Industry qualifications such as CISSP would be desirable but not essential to this role.

Benefits

  • Prosper in our success with share options and rewards for doing great work and living our values.
  • Look after you and your family with health, dental, and disability insurance, fully paid sick leave, and mental health support.
  • Save for the future with a 401K match of up to 5%—effective immediately.
  • 33 holiday days plus two volunteering days, 12 weeks of enhanced parental leave, and your birthday off.
  • Flexible and remote working, so you can work when and where you work best.
  • Career and learning development through the platform and our Learn Anything fund.
  • While most of the team is fully remote, our North American HQ is based in the center of Boston, just a 10-minute walk from Back Bay train station.
  • Monthly socials and sports clubs for our sociable, tight-knit teams (we’ve done everything from cake making to escape rooms).

Pay

Immersive’s commitment to fair and equitable compensation practices means that our compensation and benefits team prices each individual role before it is opened. Each team member is eligible for a compensation plan made up of a base salary + bonus (either annual or variable commission, depending on role) + equity. We expect most candidates for this position to fall within a base salary range of $130,000 - $160,000, though the specific package will vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, location, and experience.
