Senior Solution Engineer, Retail & Consumer Goods

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Solution Engineer, Retail & Consumer Goods to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will partner closely with sales teams and customers to translate complex data and AI capabilities into clear business value for retail and consumer goods organizations. You will lead technical conversations, deliver compelling demos and proof of concepts, and help move opportunities through the sales cycle by addressing customer-specific challenges. The position also involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to share market feedback, support product and marketing improvements, and stay current on evolving database, cloud analytics, and AI trends. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $135,000 – $160,000 annually Responsibilities Present the company's technology and vision to executive and technical audiences Conduct hands-on demos and proof of concepts for customers Stay current on industry trends and competitive technologies Collaborate with internal teams to improve products and marketing efforts Drive the sales cycle by addressing customer-specific needs and challenges Qualifications 5-7+ years of experience in a pre-sales environment Exceptional presentation skills for technical and executive audiences 5+ years of experience deploying machine learning and generative AI solutions in the cloud Strong curiosity about the AI landscape and emerging technologies Proven ability to use AI code generation tools Extensive knowledge of large-scale database and data warehouse technology and cloud analytics Hands-on expertise in SQL, SQL analytics, and Python Benefits Remote role with flexibility in work location Travel opportunities, approximately 25%-30% Access to a collaborative team passionate about customer success Opportunities for continuous learning and feedback Exposure to cutting-edge technology in the database space Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
