Senior Solution Architect, Healthcare

About the role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a highly motivated Senior Solutions Architect to help accelerate our growing business as part of the World Wide Public Sector practice. The ideal candidate will own the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects, define implementation architectures, respond to Request for Proposals (RFPs), and develop deep expertise in AWS technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional technical design and thought leadership to customers while working with a world-class sales and business development team.
• Lead efforts to capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solution architect community.
• Gain the opportunity to learn from, collaborate with, and educate some of the brightest technical minds in the industry today across the breadth of enterprise architecture.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• Bachelor's degree, or 6+ years of solving problems with technology in the Healthcare/Life Sciences Industry experience.
• Experience with one or more of the following: EHR Systems; FHIR/HL7; PACS; HIPAA/Hitrust.
