Senior Solution Architect
About the role
Sony Corporation of America seeks a Senior Solution Architect in Culver City, CA to build data activation solution using global data unification platform.
Responsibilities
- Leading the design, management and development of data pipeline and other software components to build scalable data platform
- Designing innovative data technology solutions using Snowflake, Python, Airflow, and GitHub, ensuring scalability, performance and security
- Migrating and modernizing the current data stack to new tools/frameworks and leading migration effort from start to end
- Maintaining the technical infrastructure, its configuration, performance, storage requirements and implement archival and disaster recovery strategies
- Following data engineering standard methodologies, implementing process improvements and document standards
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Data Science, or related field or equivalent
- Five (5) years of experience in a senior leadership capacity within the media and entertainment industry
Qualifications
- Experience in building and managing data pipelines and software components
- Knowledge of Snowflake, Python, Airflow, and GitHub
- Experience with data engineering standard methodologies and process improvements
Skills
- Strong understanding of data architecture and design principles
- Proficiency in data integration and transformation techniques
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms and tools
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects

$158,808.00 - $160,000.00/year
