Senior Software Quality Engineer

About the role

The Senior Software Quality Engineer will join the Stock Plan Admin QE team within Fidelity Investments' Workplace Solutions organization. This role focuses on quality engineering for an equity compensation platform aimed at a global market. The engineer will collaborate with various business and IT groups throughout project lifecycles, contributing to test planning, execution, and automation. The position requires a strong technical background and a commitment to enhancing application quality and stability.

Requirements

• 6 years of relevant technical experience in test planning, execution, and automation.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a technology-related field such as Computer Science or Engineering.
• Proficiency in QE Best Practices and Test Suite Management tools like Jira-Xray and HP ALM.
• Expertise in various types of testing including functional, user experience, regression, and non-functional testing.
• Strong skills in Java, TypeScript/JavaScript, and automation tools such as Selenium and Playwright.
• Experience with UI and Microservices Architecture, SOAP and Restful APIs, and enterprise messaging systems.
