Senior Software QA Engineer, Milpitas, CA, Hybrid

About the role

You will be part of a best-in-class Software Development team that works on various ground-breaking technologies in Routers connecting to Cloud applications. You will have the opportunity to work with pioneering networking technologies in the areas of SD-WAN Cloud-hosted solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute test strategies, reporting results and metrics to ensure feature quality.
• Collaborate with team members to determine the root cause of problems and the best course of action to resolve problems and avoid them in the future.
• Maintain cloud-hosted development, staging, and production environments and their monitoring and alerting systems.
• Apply modern, best practices in your designs and implementations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree, combined with 7 years of related experience in Software Development Engineering, or software engineering in test, or Master's Degree of Science Degree in Computer Science, combined with 4 years of related experience or PhD, combined with 1 year of related experience.
• 5+ years experience in software development including specification, implementation and testing.
• 5+ years experience in Python Programming.
• Experience in manual and automation testing, using Python.
• Experience in testing, using Selenium, OR REST API or similar frameworks.
• Experience in Django, and/or Linux based systems.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with AWS GovCloud deployments.
• Experience with SD-WAN.
• Familiarity with various compliance - viz. PCI, ISO, SOC2, and FedRAMP.
• Experience with AI-based automation tools.

Skills

• Python Programming.
• Selenium, OR REST API or similar frameworks.
• Django.
• Linux based systems.

Benefits

This is a hybrid position in the Milpitas, CA Office. The starting salary range posted for this position is $165,000.00 to $241,400.00 and reflects the projected salary range for new hires in this position in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation*, equity, or benefits. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training. The full salary range for certain locations is listed below.

Pay

The starting salary range posted for this position is $165,000.00 to $241,400.00 and reflects the projected salary range for new hires in this position in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation*, equity, or benefits. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training. The full salary range for certain locations is listed below.
