Senior Software QA Engineer, Milpitas, CA, Hybrid
About the role
You will be part of a best-in-class Software Development team that works on various ground-breaking technologies in Routers connecting to Cloud applications. You will have the opportunity to work with pioneering networking technologies in the areas of SD-WAN Cloud-hosted solutions.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute test strategies, reporting results and metrics to ensure feature quality.
- Collaborate with team members to determine the root cause of problems and the best course of action to resolve problems and avoid them in the future.
- Maintain cloud-hosted development, staging, and production environments and their monitoring and alerting systems.
- Apply modern, best practices in your designs and implementations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree, combined with 7 years of related experience in Software Development Engineering, or software engineering in test, or Master's Degree of Science Degree in Computer Science, combined with 4 years of related experience or PhD, combined with 1 year of related experience.
- 5+ years experience in software development including specification, implementation and testing.
- 5+ years experience in Python Programming.
- Experience in manual and automation testing, using Python.
- Experience in testing, using Selenium, OR REST API or similar frameworks.
- Experience in Django, and/or Linux based systems.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with AWS GovCloud deployments.
- Experience with SD-WAN.
- Familiarity with various compliance - viz. PCI, ISO, SOC2, and FedRAMP.
- Experience with AI-based automation tools.
Skills
- Python Programming.
- Selenium, OR REST API or similar frameworks.
- Django.
- Linux based systems.
Benefits
This is a hybrid position in the Milpitas, CA Office. The starting salary range posted for this position is $165,000.00 to $241,400.00 and reflects the projected salary range for new hires in this position in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation*, equity, or benefits. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training. The full salary range for certain locations is listed below.
