Senior Software Engineering Manager

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineering Manager to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. This role will lead a large engineering organization responsible for delivering scalable software solutions and guiding technical execution across multiple initiatives. The manager will set direction for the team, foster innovation, and ensure engineering efforts align with broader business objectives. Success in this role will require strong collaboration with cross-functional partners and the ability to translate strategy into high-quality deliverables. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $150,000 – $180,000 annually Responsibilities Lead and direct a large team of technical employees responsible for engineering deliverables Provide technical leadership and guidance to the work team Conduct regular group meetings and communicate company policies Create and communicate vision and strategies for functional responsibilities Review deliverables and provide constructive feedback Encourage innovation and exploration of new ideas within teams Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology with business goals Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Science, or a related field 8 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Developer, or in a related role 5 years of experience in application and services development Proficiency in creating intuitive UIs with HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks Experience deploying scalable services using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes Skilled in programming languages including C++, Java, TypeScript, C#, and Python Benefits 100% telecommuting available 10% domestic travel required Opportunity to lead and innovate within a dynamic team Engagement in organization-wide initiatives for best practices Support for continuous learning and professional development Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
