Senior Software Engineer with Apigee, GCP & AI/ML

IT Engagements is a global staff augmentation firm providing talent on-demand and total workforce solutions for a premium client in Atlanta, GA.

About the role

This is an onsite position in Atlanta, GA. Relocation assistance is available for candidates in the EST zone only. Interviews will be conducted via video.

Visa sponsorship is available with a focus on H1B, H4EAD, and US Citizens; secondary consideration for GC and GCEAD holders.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage enterprise API gateways on Apigee X.
• Build microservices, asynchronous services, and integrate data/ML models using Python.
• Deploy cloud solutions on GCP (GKE, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, IAM, Vertex AI, Google Cloud Storage).
• Develop or expose interfaces for AI/ML workloads, vector search, or Generative AI platforms via APIs.
• Implement RESTful services, gRPC, OpenAPI/Swagger specifications, and security policies (OAuth 2.0, SAML, JWT).

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, enterprise integration, and system architecture.
• Expert-level proficiency in Apigee X, GCP, Python, and AI/ML.
