Senior Software Engineer (USA-Only)

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain scalable applications and services.
• Develop new product features and improve existing systems.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to define requirements and technical solutions.
• Build and maintain APIs, databases, integrations, and supporting infrastructure.
• Improve application performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical planning.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions.
• Mentor other engineers and help establish strong engineering practices.
• Contribute to features that may incorporate AI, machine learning, or third-party AI services.
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend tools that support product and business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Five or more years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, or C++.
• Experience designing and supporting production applications, APIs, or distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of databases, data structures, algorithms, testing, version control, and software design principles.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Ability to lead technical projects and make thoughtful architectural decisions.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with artificial intelligence, machine learning, or data-driven product features.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating machine learning models, large language models, or AI-powered APIs into software products.
• Experience with containerization, orchestration, and infrastructure tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform.
• Familiarity with modern frontend or backend frameworks.
• Experience working in an agile product-development environment.
• Experience mentoring engineers or leading cross-functional technical initiatives.
