Senior Software Engineer TS/SCI CI poly

About the role

TENICA is seeking a senior software engineer with extensive experience in Agile methodologies, modern coding languages, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the transition of time dominant tools and support OPIR and Proliferated constellation-based specialty projects.
• Lead teams and deliver presentations to clients, end-users, and technical audiences.
• Design, modify, develop, write, and implement software programming applications using Agile methods.
• Develop and enhance source code for new applications or existing applications.
• Acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation and optimization.
• Mentor or supervise employees within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
• Work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software development with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks.
• Experience with Python coding.
• Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, and software products.
• Experience writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications.
• Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, or an Engineering field.
• Nice if you have:
• Experience with containerization tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Git, or similar tools.
• A Master's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, or a related Engineering field preferred; a Doctorate degree in CS, Computer Engineering, or a related Engineering field is a plus.
