Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of full-stack applications using .NET (C#) and Blazor, ensuring scalable, maintainable, and business-focused solutions.
- Define and evolve technical architecture across frontend and backend systems, balancing speed, quality, and long-term maintainability.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, enabling reliable and automated deployments.
- Champion automated testing practices, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Design and manage cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Bicep, Terraform, or ARM templates.
- Implement feature management and progressive deployment strategies using LaunchDarkly.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentorship to engineering team members.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions and delivery plans.
- Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and tools to improve efficiency and reduce technical debt.
- Support production environments, participate in incident response activities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership, team lead, or software architecture role.
- Strong expertise in .NET (C#), ASP.NET Core, Web APIs, and server-side application development.
- Hands-on experience building modern web applications using Blazor (Server and/or WebAssembly).
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including App Services, Azure SQL, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Entra ID, and Key Vault.
- Proven experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code solutions including Bicep, Terraform, or ARM templates.
- Experience implementing feature flagging and progressive delivery using LaunchDarkly or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of automated testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, bUnit, Playwright, or similar tools.
- Experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL, Entity Framework Core, and data access patterns.
Qualifications
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or Azure Container Apps.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools including Application Insights, Azure Monitor, Grafana, or Datadog.
- Experience with event-driven architectures, messaging systems, and microservices.
- Azure certifications such as: Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Experience working within Agile and Scrum teams.
- Demonstrated success improving developer experience through tooling, documentation, onboarding programs, or platform enhancements.
