Senior Software Engineer, Platform/Backend

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance an API platform that powers SentiLink’s products
• Work with product, engineering, and security teams to deploy features and underlying systems
• Ensure scalability, maintainability, and security of products and platforms
• Drive agile delivery of both existing and new products based on project requirements
• Write unit, dependency, integration, and end-to-end automated tests
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve product issues
• Maintain platform and services meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Participate in on-call rotations for production issues

Requirements

• 6+ years of software development experience building enterprise or consumer-facing products
• Experience with building API-based products using Python, Golang, or similar technologies
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, interpersonal skills, and a sense of humor
• Familiarity with RDBMS (e.g. PostgreSQL), Docker, AWS technologies, and fintech/financial services
• Scrum/agile development environment experience

Pay

$170,000/year - $230,000/year + equity + benefits
