Kikoff is a profitable, pre-IPO fintech company focused on empowering everyone to achieve financial security. We've built a suite of products that help millions of people build credit, access liquidity, and save money. We're scaling rapidly and are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Partnerships Engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Architect and build scalable solutions that power strategic partnerships with leading nationwide brands.
- Work on complex integrations, multi-tenant systems, and high-impact features that directly influence business outcomes.
- Design, build, and scale our B2B platform from API architecture to enterprise integration patterns.
- Use AI tools to work smarter and ship better products faster without sacrificing quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions that meet business needs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and scaling production systems.
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools to work smarter and ship better products faster without sacrificing quality.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails is a plus but not required; we value strong fundamentals and the ability to learn quickly.
- A builder’s mindset—thrives in ambiguity, takes initiative, and enjoys owning systems end-to-end.
- Deep understanding of system design, API development, and integrations, especially with third-party platforms.
Qualifications
- Strong fundamentals in software engineering.
- Experience with cloud services and infrastructure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for creating elegant, maintainable code.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Skills

Pay
Base Range: $244,000 - $292,000 USD
