Senior Software Engineer, PAM (Windows Platform)

For our client, a leader in the Information Technology space, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer focused on Privileged Access Management (PAM) for Windows platforms. This role will lead technical initiatives centered on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will collaborate across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions, influencing architecture, execution quality, and long-term technology capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain PAM software components for Windows environments
• Build and enhance Windows-integrated services and background processes
• Develop remote desktop protocol handler components for Windows
• Work directly with Windows APIs and privilege models
• Implement secure credential handling and policy enforcement
• Collaborate with backend teams for endpoint functionality integration
• Troubleshoot complex issues across Windows OS versions

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong expertise in Python and C or C++
• Deep knowledge of Windows internals and system APIs
• Experience with system-level or OS-adjacent software development
• Understanding of authentication and privileged access concepts
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Must be a U.S. Person due to FedRAMP authorization

Pay

$120,000 – $150,000 annually
