Senior Software Engineer, Native Mobile

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Native Mobile to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will focus on building and refining fully native mobile experiences across both major platforms, with a strong emphasis on consistency, performance, and maintainable architecture. You will partner closely with product and design teams to turn ambiguous requirements into polished platform-appropriate solutions. This is a hands-on engineering position that also includes technical collaboration, code review, and support for other engineers working across both mobile codebases. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $196,000 – $227,000 annually Responsibilities Design and ship features across iOS and Android native codebases Partner with design and product teams to create platform-idiomatic implementations Uphold architecture, performance, and app-size standards for both platforms Contribute to shared client contracts and flag potential drift between platforms Assist other engineers in dual-platform work through pairing and code review Engage in technical reviews and architecture discussions spanning both platforms Qualifications 6+ years of professional software engineering experience Deep expertise in both iOS (Swift, UIKit/SwiftUI) and Android (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose) Proven ability to independently ship medium-to-large complexity features Strong opinions on mobile architecture with experience maintaining coherent native codebases Experience translating ambiguous requirements into platform-appropriate implementations Pragmatic understanding of the importance of fully native development over cross-platform tools Benefits Remote-eligible position with occasional office work Potential for bonuses and equity Employee travel credits Comprehensive benefits package Flexible work environment Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
