Job Responsibilities
- Work with a diverse, expert team of engineers to build and support the front-end tools and back-end services we use to manage inventory, fulfill orders, and perform distribution center operations in a fast-moving environment.
- Build scalable, explainable, and well-vetter AI-powered features and models to drive new business capabilities.
- Leverage AI development tools effectively and responsibly.
- Use AI coding assistants to accelerate delivery while maintaining code-quality, security, and architectural integrity.
- Review AI-generated code with the same rigor as human-authored code.
- Build scalable, testable, and reusable code using open-source technologies.
- Perform functions supporting all levels of the development lifecycle including scoping, development, testing, and managing release pipelines.
Qualifications
- Strong experience with object-oriented languages (e.g., C#, Kotlin, Swift, PHP, Java,…)
- Expertise in a modern application development environment
- 5-7+ years of professional software development experience
- Demonstrated proficiency with AI coding assistants (i.e Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini, ChatGPT, Co-Pilot, etc.)
- Experience with native mobile development tools like Android Studio and/or XCode
- Experience reviewing and refining AI-generated code, including spotting hallucinated API's, subtle logic errors, security issues, and architectural drift
- Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol), agentic coding tools, or LLM-powered developer tooling
- Experience contributing to or shaping team-level AI adoption guidelines, governance, or evaluation frameworks
- Hands-on experience designing AI/ML features (RAG, embeddings, fine-tuning, evaluation harnesses)
- Fluency with Git or other version control software
