Senior Software Engineer II (Full Stack), Fieldwork Automation (Remote Arizona)

Key Responsibilities

• Build and ship product features end-to-end
• Write clear and well-defined design documentation
• Mentor fellow engineers
• Lead application architecture decisions
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software bugs
• Implement back-end APIs in Node.JS
• Work on our React, Vue, Ember SPA front-end
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers
• Participate in an Agile software development life cycle
• Write well-designed, maintainable, and testable code
• Be product-minded and think about the customer
• Work with JavaScript, Node.JS, React, Python, Docker, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, etc.

Attributes of a Successful Candidate

• 8+ years of experience developing web-based enterprise SaaS applications
• Experience guiding high-quality work through delivery across multiple developers
• Experience with a modern front-end framework (React, Vue, Ember, etc.)
• Experience writing REST/JSON APIs (Swagger/OpenAPI Spec)
• Experience writing software tests
• Able to solve technical problems independently
• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD. in Computer Science or equivalent
• Motivation to work hard and always be learning

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Node.JS and modern ES6 or TypeScript
• Experience with React
• Experience working on SaaS web applications
