Senior Software Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver large-scale, real-time systems with a focus on quality and scalability
• Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to develop end-to-end solutions
• Review technical designs and provide constructive feedback on peer code
• Identify technical debt and propose actionable solutions
• Monitor and respond to system issues, taking operational ownership
• Mentor and coach team members to enhance their technical skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• Significant experience with modern programming languages, particularly functional programming
• Proven ability to lead complex projects and influence technical direction
• Strong software design and architecture skills, emphasizing scalability and reliability
• Experience with distributed systems or public-facing APIs and cloud platforms like AWS or GCP
• Freshman-level fluency in modern AI development tools for coding efficiency
• Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
