Senior Software Engineer II AI-Native, backend Growth

Responsibilities

• Design and build high-quality APIs and services for subscribers and payment infrastructure
• Work with AI tools as a primary workflow collaborator
• Define and codify AI-Native engineering practices for the team
• Build across the full stack to deliver polished experiences
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to develop scalable solutions
• Contribute to architectural decisions and code reviews
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident response

Qualifications

• 6+ years of backend software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency with Java and Spring Boot
• Experience with Apache Kafka or similar distributed streaming platforms
• Solid understanding of distributed systems concepts
• Comfortable with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
• Heavy user of agentic workflows
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
