Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain cloud services that are scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement and influence strategy within the team’s responsibility.
- Improve quality, uptime, and monitoring for all existing applications and apply best practices for new development.
- Led projects and work alongside team members to create robust architectural designs.
- Collaborate with distributed teams to deliver cohesive global solutions.
- Serve as a mentor and a positive example of high-ownership and accountability.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- BA/BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or similar discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in a software engineering role.
- Expertise in Java or another JVM-based language, with a solid understanding of multi-threading and concurrency.
- Experience in designing and developing scalable microservices and REST APIs.
- Experience with deploying to cloud-based services like AWS or GCP.
- Experience with cloud services deployments, monitoring, and production support.
- Ability to work within established infrastructure and quickly become familiar.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision and manage competing priorities and time effectively.
- Eager to learn new technologies and adapt to new and changing requirements.
What You Bring On Day One

Pay
Base compensation range for this position is $117,000 to $158,000. Actual base within this range will depend on many factors including experience, skills, technical expertise and market alignment.
Schedule
This position is a hybrid role, based onsite 3 days a week at our office in Minneapolis, MN.
