Senior Software Engineer , Full Stack ( Seattle / Provo Hybrid )

About the role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and implement front-end application enhancements, mentor team members, and coordinate with IT and business teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. You will contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment, while adhering to modern development practices and standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop software using C# .NET Core with modern tools and methodologies
- Design and implement front-end application enhancements and bug fixes based on general instructions
- Participate in iteration and release planning
- Adhere to core design and testing principles
- Interpret and follow detailed technical specifications, updating them as needed
- Learn and follow standards, processes, and procedures
- Author supporting documentation for software solutions
- Prepare work for inclusion in the release/deployment management process
- Participate in peer technical reviews
- Troubleshoot identified problems and provide support and follow-up for issues
- Complete assigned design tasks within the time allotted
- Participate in occasional off-hours support and maintenance activities
- Mentor Software Developers and ensure the quality of their work
- Coordinate with other IT and business teams
- Train other developers on standards, policies, and procedures
- Support software applications and coordinate issue resolution processes
- Lead all aspects of the SDLC for small and medium projects with up to 3 contributors
- Communicate best practice solutions to other developers and present technical ideas
Requirements
- Strong software engineering skills on the .NET Core platform
- Experience with web and mobile responsive front-end technologies including Angular/React, JavaScript, and CSS
- Experience in JSON and API development methodologies
- Experience in containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) preferred
- CI/CD experience preferred
- GitLab experience highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of SQL, specifically with Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with test-driven development
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience working in an agile environment
- Thorough understanding of data structures and object-oriented techniques
- Basic knowledge of statistics
- Ability to multitask, prioritize project tasks, and manage individual time effectively
- Bachelor’s Degree or comparable broad-based work experience
- 5+ years of experience with mobile responsive development in Angular and React
- Experience with code reviews and participation in code review processes
- Ability to communicate best practice solutions and present technical ideas to development teams

In addition to a competitive base salary, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus or commission tied to achieved results.
Pay
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $138,000. Offers are typically made below the top of the range and are based on factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market conditions, and organizational considerations.
