Responsibilities
- Engineer automated solutions, automated testing, monitoring, and observability
- Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to deliver robust cloud-based solutions
- Utilize programming languages and technologies including React, HTML/CSS, Node.js, SQL, Python, open-source databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS tools and services
- Develop solutions to improve quality, delivery, efficiency, and customer and employee experience using automation technologies
- Demonstrate advanced understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and CI/CD pipelines and tools
- Lead resolution of production issues and engage IT and vendors as necessary
- Prioritize and oversee activities of others to meet deadlines and quality standards
- Work closely with program owners and business units regarding enhancements and changes
- Collaborate with and across Agile teams
- Learn and lead implementation of new technologies by analyzing technical specifications, building and configuring supporting infrastructure, and implementing security best practices
- Provide workday and after-hours production support, including troubleshooting, problem correction, testing, and promotion to the production environment
- Lead root cause analysis of application issues and facilitate resolution by coordinating with vendors, internal IT, and users
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of version control systems like Git, including managing code repositories, branching strategies, and code review processes
- Provide technical assistance and mentoring to the engineering team
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in front-end and back-end development
- 2 years of experience in Agile practices
- 2 years of experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js, and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a relevant discipline (preferred)
- Prior experience designing and implementing AI/ML-powered features to enhance automation, decision-making, and customer experience in agricultural finance applications (preferred)
- Experience productionizing ML models and integrating them into full-stack applications with scalable APIs and real-time inference pipelines (preferred)
- Experience leveraging generative AI to improve customer-facing tools, such as chatbots, document automation, and intelligent search capabilities (preferred)
- Demonstrated technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills for complex and unique problems
- Ability to maintain flexibility and resilience in ambiguous situations
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to deliver commitments while juggling multiple projects and priorities
- Ability to work effectively under deadline pressures and adjust quickly to changing priorities
- Advanced interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels
- Advanced verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate messages to diverse audiences
- Advanced active listening skills
Pay
The typical base pay range for this role is $121,000 - $148,900. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
