About the role

Braze is seeking a skilled software engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves designing, implementing, and improving modular components in a cutting-edge product. You will collaborate with other teams to create scalable and dynamic Braze product components using TypeScript, JavaScript, and related technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Use robust software engineering best practices to design, implement, and improve modular components in a cutting-edge product
  • Collaborate closely with other teams (e.g., UI/UX, Product, Research, Implementation) to create scalable and dynamic Braze product components
  • Apply your extensive knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript and their ecosystem to build a clean, reliable, and extensible user interface for the web
  • Influence Braze's product strategy and roadmap
  • Support teams implementing Braze for customers to ensure their success

Requirements

  • Exceptional coder: write clean code and care about good design and development best practices
  • Tinkerer: regularly explore and learn new technologies and methods

Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript and their ecosystem
  • Experience with Web technologies such as Vue.js (v3) and its ecosystem (VueCLI with webpack), Node.js, Strapi, PostgreSQL, HTML5, CSS3
  • Knowledge of Data Science/ML Pipeline technologies such as Python (Pandas, TF, Fast API, Great Expectations)

Skills

  • Strong coding skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, and related technologies
  • Experience with Vue.js and its ecosystem
  • Understanding of data science and machine learning concepts

Pay

The pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $129,600 and $232,200/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $144,000 and $258,000/year (including bonus or commission).
