Senior Software Engineer, Frontend | Product Engineering

About the role

TRM Labs provides AI-powered intelligence solutions to help public and private sector agencies investigate and disrupt crime. We are seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Frontend Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be deeply involved in building robust and seamless product features that analyze blockchain transaction activity at a massive scale.

Responsibilities

• Building a large-scale web application that manages billions of transactions using React and Redux
• Working with Backend Engineers, Designers, and Product to build features and ship product
• Finding and addressing performance issues
• Participating in code and design reviews
• Developing a deep understanding of crypto and blockchain to inform product design and direction
• Collaborating with product lead and customers to define a new category of enterprise software

Requirements

• Knowledge of great design and intuitive UX
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals
• Extensive experience with modern front end frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, React.js) and CSS-in-JS libraries (e.g., styled-components)
• Experience designing and building data-heavy front-end applications
• Experience with virtual currencies, applications, and their use in financial networks and blockchain analysis is a plus
• Adaptable and autonomous, able to anticipate and react quickly to changing priorities
• Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Collaborative, willing to work with cross-functional teams and at all levels within the organization

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development
• Experience with blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, ES6+, and modern web technologies
• Experience with TypeScript, GraphQL, and RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

Pay

$190,000 - $220,000 base salary, depending on experience
