Senior Software Engineer, Frontend (Auth Experiences)

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Frontend (Auth Experiences) to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will focus on building and improving frontend authentication experiences that are essential to a secure, seamless customer journey. The person in this role will partner closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-impact web application features. Success in the position will require strong technical execution, thoughtful cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to guide teams through ambiguity while raising the overall quality of the codebase. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver quarterly team goals while guiding engineers through ambiguity
• Collaborate across teams to support the product development lifecycle
• Identify and lead proactive solutions for project and technology issues
• Create and monitor metrics for team artifacts, supporting operational availability
• Foster a quality and ownership culture through improved coding standards
• Develop talent within the team through feedback and mentorship

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in web application development using React or Vue frameworks
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Demonstrated ability to define technical plans for significant features and systems
• Experience making substantial changes across large codebases
• Ownership of personal growth through proactive feedback seeking
• Strong verbal and written collaboration skills

Pay

$153,000 – $213,000 annually
