Senior Software Engineer, Frontend (App Experience)

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Frontend (App Experience) to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will focus on building and enhancing the customer-facing web experience, with an emphasis on delivering reliable, high-quality frontend solutions. You will partner closely with product, design, analytics, and engineering stakeholders to shape major features, influence technical direction, and improve the overall product experience. The position also calls for strong leadership in a fast-moving environment, where you will help guide team execution, elevate engineering standards, and support continuous improvement across the organization. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver quarterly goals for your team, guiding engineers through ambiguity
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and analysts throughout the product development lifecycle
• Identify and lead solutions for project, process, technology, or business issues
• Support team operations by creating and monitoring metrics
• Foster a culture of quality by setting or improving code standards and conducting tech talks
• Develop team talent through feedback, guidance, and leading by example

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience building web applications using React or Vue frameworks
• Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript for development tasks
• Demonstrated leadership in driving cross-team initiatives
• Experience defining technical plans for delivering major features or components
• Ability to make significant changes in large codebases safely and efficiently
• Proactive in seeking feedback and taking ownership of personal growth and development
• Strong communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration across global teams
