Senior Software Engineer, Finance Engineering

Responsibilities

• Build and own core services for ingesting settlement and transactional data
• Design infrastructure for bespoke monetization deal terms
• Rapidly develop tools to enhance finance data interactions
• Collaborate with product engineering on data modeling and contracts
• Communicate and institute data quality best practices with stakeholders
• Maintain high standards in a SOX controlled environment
• Document data sources and systems clearly

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with production backend systems
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience with handling transactional or financial data in a SOX controlled environment
• Design experience for reliable and auditable data models
• Familiarity with streaming data and data warehouses
• Ability to define architecture and roadmap without predefined playbooks
• Strong communication skills for technical concepts with non-technical stakeholders
