About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer at FACTS Financial Aid Management, you will be a key part of the application development process. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and other internal teams to understand customer needs and create new products or features that enhance FACTS solutions. You will also mentor less experienced engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices and development standards, while engaging with globally distributed resources. While we work in a .NET stack with Angular, we prioritize engineering fundamentals, passion, and the ability to learn over specific tech experience.

Responsibilities

  • Research, design, implement, and manage software applications.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to define requirements.
  • Write, test, and implement efficient code.
  • Review and provide feedback on pull requests.
  • Use AI coding tools as part of your daily workflow.
  • Coach and mentor other team members.
  • Stay positive and solution-oriented with team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • .NET stack with Angular experience preferred.
  • AI experience is preferred.

Skills

  • Strong technical competency with a logical, analytical, and creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with clients, colleagues, and management on complex issues.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities.
  • Adapts well to change and focuses on continuous improvement.

Pay

Compensation range for this role is $120,000–$150,000 annually, depending on experience.
