Senior Software Engineer - eResources

Responsibilities

• Lead small teams and mentor junior engineers.
• Design and implement complex features and systems.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team.
• Participate in architectural discussions and decisions.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years Java development experience.
• 3+ years developing RESTful web services.
• 2+ years developing in a Linux environment.
• Familiar with RDBMS technologies.
• Strong programming skills in one or more languages.
• Ability to lead and mentor teams.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting skills, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of database systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms.
• Experience integrating AI tools, frameworks, and concepts into the software development process.
• Proven track record of delivering high quality technical solutions according to desired delivery schedules.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to effectively enhance complex system areas for new features, bug fixes, and optimizations.
• Contribute to long-term code maintainability and robustness through peer review of design and code.
• Provide support to internal teams as well as end users for the applications and services in all environments, including production.
• Strong understanding of and ability to articulate the principles of object-oriented design, data structures, common design patterns and REST best practices.
