Senior Software Engineer - DoD Contract

The Senior Software Engineer - DoD Contract is based in the United States and supports mission-critical government technology solutions through software engineering, application maintenance, and system enhancement.

Requirements

• Extensive software engineering experience with strong knowledge of web application development, production support, and secure technology environments.
• Previous experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including significant experience with web-based applications.
• Advanced understanding of concurrent programming concepts, including design, development, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment.
• Experience maintaining production applications in regulated environments such as government, healthcare, or other compliance-focused industries.
• Experience with software requirements analysis, implementation planning, tracking, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with version control systems, CI/CD practices, and automated testing approaches.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience integrating web applications with SQL Server databases and collaborating with DBAs on optimization and schema design.
• Familiarity with DoD, Army IT regulations, cybersecurity requirements, and information assurance practices.
• Experience working with survey platforms or enterprise data management solutions.
